The Intention of a Godly Mother VBS 2008 Click here for info. Senior Recognition On Sunday, May 11, we will be recognizing our graduating high school and college seniors. Pictures and information on the graduates must be in the church office by noon Mon., May 5. Church Mulch Day Saturday, May 17 All who can are asked to join us Saturday morning, May 17, to mulch the church property. We plan to start at 9:00 am and will continue until done. The more we have, the faster it will go. If you have the following, please bring them: garden rake, shovel, wheel barrow, gas blower, broom, and gloves. We are also in need of several pickup trucks! Summer Studies When Godly People Do Ungodly Things
Beth Moore is a 6-week study that will begin the first week in June and run through the end of July. This study will be offered at two different times:
- Tuesdays from 7-9 pm at the home of Jackie Gunter, and
- Thursdays from 10 am-12 pm at the church.
Click here for more info. Officer Nominations Members of Christ Covenant are urged to make nominations for the office of elder and deacon during the month of May. Elders should be godly men whose heart expresses spiritual leadership, while deacons should be godly men whose heart expresses spiritual service. See the bulletin for details. Hope Academy Harlan County, KY is scheduled for July 7-11. Commitments to teach a class are due by Sunday, May 11 and payments are due by June 1. Please visit our Volunteer Registration Table at the end of the Children's Wing to view the many opportunities available for volunteers in our VBS in June. Set sail for Outrigger Island and show our kids how to live God's unshakeable truth!

Training for Volunteers
Choose one of the following mandatory training sessions:
- Sunday, May 18 from 4-6 pm. or
- Wednesday, May 21 from 6-8 pm.
Babysitting will be provided on Wednesday evening only.

Registration for Wave Riders
Registration for Wave Riders begins next Sunday, May 4. Children who are completing K-5th Grade can register for Vacation Bible School at the table near the Children's Wing.

Capstone Ministries Bible Drive

Capstone is a ministry working with orphans and street children in India. Some of our members are involved with this ministry and our Missions Team is studying how we might support the ministry. One opportunity to help is to collect Bibles for the orphanage. If you have used Bibles at your house that you could donate, or if you want to purchase Bibles (especially children's Bibles), please bring them and put them is the designated barrels in the hallway outside the worship center. The barrels will be out for the next couple of weeks. Thanks in advance for your help with this ministry.
