VBS in SUNDAY SCHOOL June 2 - August 4

Kingdom Rock, a VBS curriculum, will be taught from June 2-August 4, during our Sunday School hours of 9:30 and 10:50 a.m.  At Kingdom Rock, kids discover how to stand strong for God!  This curriculum is filled with incredible Bi-ble-learning experiences that kids see, hear and touch! 

 

We will begin each Sunday School hour with a "General Assembly" in the Back Porch Room and then break into fun learning groups. So, join us for the adventure of Kingdom Rock.

Upcoming Events:

When you register, a $50 non-refundable deposit is due with the balance due no later than 30 days prior to the first day of camp. Payments may be made by credit card or electronic check. After the initial deposit, installment payments may be made online in any amount. Only online registrations will be received.

Campers must be 8 years old by Sept. 30, 2013.  Cost is $100 per camper. Sibling discounts are available.

Volunteer Opportunities

• A Children's Church teacher is needed to teach one time per month during the 2nd worship hour. All materials are provided!
• We need a teacher in the Games classroom for 9:30 Sunday School

Our model...

With the Lord Jesus Christ as our model, we place a top priority on ministry to our children. We help children develop Bible knowledge and teach them how to apply their faith to everyday life. Our desire is to reach every child for Christ and as a church family, guide and support them as they begin their walk with the Lord. We provide Sunday School for ages 2 years through 5th grade. Our Workshop Rotation Sunday school provides a multi-sensory experience through multiple classes. Each Bible study or topic is taught through five methods: art, drama, games, computer and video workshops. Each rotation the children are asked to learn a Bible memory verse which coincides with the story.

Other Ministries:

Children's Church - Kindergarten to 2nd grade; available during each worship service

Junior Leaders - 5th grade leaders serve in the Children's area

Puppet Team - 3rd, 4th and 5th graders present puppet shows in the community

Mission of Hope - outreach to Black Mountain Elementary School in Harlan County, KY
