Ministry Opportunities for Small Groups
At Christ Covenant serving Christ is one of the main emphasis to our vision. We demonstrate God’s love through our words and deeds of service as we meet the
felt needs around us. Whether you serve at one of our Operation In As Much Days, volunteer at Christ Covenant, or work with one of our local partner organizations,
there are opportunities for you to share your time and talents that God has given you.

Choices Resource Center
- Participate in the Walk for Life (Sept. 21).
- Help count coins for Bottles for Babies campaign (February).
- Assist with bulk mailing preparations.
- Serve as counselor, receptionist, helpline worker, nurse, teacher, Spanish ministry, phone calling.
- Become a prayer partner.
Department of Children's Services

- Fostering Care Bags: Help foster families by donating and sorting care bags.
- Painting: A group can sign up to clean and paint their conference room. Also, they are in need of artists to paint murals.
- Volunteers for Family Appreciation Day on May 23, 2013.
Habitat for Humanity of Loudon County

- Home construction: no experience required.
- The Home Store in Loudon County (3-4 hour shifts).
KARM - Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries
(contact Jennifer Corbin at volunteergroup@karm.org or 865-673-6540
- Plan and host a creative day of ministry to guests.
- Evening Chapel Service: share the good news of the Gospel in a creative, inviting manner.
- Make KARM Shine: Clean outside, wash windows, do laundry, vacuum, deep clean our chapel and dormitories.
- Serve a meal: Breakfast (6:30 - 7:45 a.m.), Lunch (11:30 -12:45 p.m.), or Dinner (4:30 - 5:45 p.m.).
KARM Thrift Store - Lenoir City

- Presort clothing, sizing, deep clean store, clean parking lot.
Knoxville Leadership Foundation

- Operation Backyard: help build ramps, paint, or roof repairs for disabled.
- Prepare a meal at Flenneken Apartments for homeless.
- Amachi Program: mentor children of incarcerated parents.
Senior Meals Ministry

- Prepare a meal once a month
- Deliver meals to individuals in the community
Summit View Nursing Home

- Meet with individuals and provide a listening ear.
Transport for Christ

- Clean & wash the trailer
- Assist chaplain with prayer, hospital visits, etc.
- Attend Prayer Breakfast on first Saturday of month
The Water Angels

- Outreach for children (1st and 3rd Saturdays – 12-2 p.m. or Thursdays at 6 p.m.).
- Sorting donations at Warehouse.
- Help with men’s & women’s Bible Studies.
- Tutor children
