Music & Worship Ministry

We exist to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. We are not performers. We seek no glory for ourselves. Our commitment is to lead people in heartfelt, excellent worship to God and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music and the arts. As we worship with all our hearts and minds, we hope our leadership draws the congregation toward God and a desire to praise Him.

Biblical truth rather than personal preference marks our worship style. From the new songs of worship to the old hymns of faith, our prayer is that God will shower His love on us, delight in our praises, and truly "inhabit the praises of His people" (Psalm 22:3).

Areas To Serve

We are always looking for people to join our Music & Worship Ministry team. If you sing, act, play an instrument, or have computer and technical skills, there is a place for you in our ministry. Contact Gabe Loving at (865) 671-1885.

Adult Choir: (Open to college age and up)
The primary focus of the Adult Choir is to lead in worship on Sunday mornings, although they also present special programs during the year. The requirements are a love of music and the desire to worship God through singing. They meet Sunday evenings, August through May from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm and welcome new members throughout the ministry year.
The Worship Band: The Worship Band consists of instrumentalists who assist in both morning worship services on a regular basis.
The Praise Team: The Praise Team consists of solo quality vocalists that assist in leading Sunday morning worship on microphones several Sundays a month.
Youth Ensemble: (Open to 6th - 12th Grade)
Teaching our teens to worship and to be worship leaders is one of the main purposes of Youth Ensemble. While singing is their primary focus, they also include instruments and drama in their ministry. Youth Ensemble meets Sunday afternoons 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm during the school year. They also tour for a week or so in the early summer.
Drama Team: The Drama Ministry participates in worship and special programs throughout the year.

Tech Team

Our behind-the-scenes techs are an essential element to our ministry for sound, video, and lighting.

Kingdom Kids Children's Choir

(Open to Kindergarten through 5th Grade)
The Kingdom Kids meet Wednesday evenings in conjunction with the Midweek Manna program. They enjoy singing God's praises while developing musical skills as they worship.
