PRAYER MINISTRY

At Christ Covenant, we are committed to the need for prayer in all areas of our ministry. We desire that each ministry provide "prayer supports" for their particular ministry, knowing that God is the One that changes hearts and lives.

 Christ Covenant's Prayer Ministry includes:

  1. Prayer Chain

Individuals throughout our church are contacted to pray about special needs that arise in people's lives. The e-mail prayer chain notifies people of ongoing needs that individuals can lift up in prayer. Contact the church office by phone (671-1885) or e-mail (ccpc@christcov.org) to place a request on the prayer chain, or enter your request on our Prayer Requests page.

  2. Ministry Teams

Each ministry team (youth, children, music, etc.) is encouraged to develop a prayer team to pray for their particular ministry.

  3. Praise Prayer Meeting

Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. people gather and elders lead a time of praising God in prayer. It is open to anyone.

  4. Revival Prayer Groups

Revival Prayer is praying God's Word back to Him to achieve the goal He wants in the first place: for His people to be on fire for Him with the passion they had when they were first saved. Revival Prayer is asking for the Holy Spirit to move in a mighty and powerful way to rekindle and reignite the fire in us for Him, which will, in turn, give us His heart for the lost and desire to move and serve and do something about it. Join us as we pray for our church, our community, our nation, our world.

If you are interested in joining a Revival Prayer Group, contact Jim Dallery at 671-1885.

  5. Elders' Ministry of Prayer

Sunday, after each of our worship services, elders are available to pray with anyone who desires prayer. This prayer time will take place in our prayer room.

  6. Prayer Walks

Monthly prayer walks are planned on the second Sunday of each month at the church to pray for ministries on the very spot where they occur

  7. Grandmothers in Touch

Grandmothers meet to pray for their grandchildren. For information, call 405-0961.
