WORLD MISSIONS

Missions Ministry Purpose Statement

Recognizing that all peoples of the world are in need of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the CCPC Missions Ministry exists to train our members to be involved in mission and missions support and to provide opportunities to evangelize and disciple individuals globally.

 KNOW:

As unbelievers who attend our church hear and understand our passion for and emphasis on reaching the "world" for Christ, we trust they will be challenged to think about and understand the love of Christ for them.

LOVE:

Believing that the core of "loving Christ" is worship, and believing that prayer and giving are acts of worship…we encourage our members to grow in their love for Christ through the diciplines of faith promise giving and prayer for the world and missionaries.

The annual missions conference is another opportunity for our people to grow in their love for Christ as they are exposed to missionaries and the people they work with

SERVE:

The CCPC missions ministry encourages our membership to "serve" in the following ways:

• Serve as a Missions Team Member
• Serve as the missions advocate in a small group
• Host missionaries during the annual missions conference
• Become involved in a local CCPC supported ministry
• Go on a short-term mission trip.
• Follow the Lord's leading into full time missions
