Nursery care is provided for children 3 months to pre-kindergarten from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon during both Sunday school and the Sunday morning worship service. During Sunday school, we have Bible lessons for children ages 1 through pre-kindergarten.
The CCPC Nursery has as its goal to provide quality care and Christian teaching in a safe environment that will be glorifying to our God. Nursery is often provided for children from 3 months through pre-kindergarten during special church-wide events. We believe that the nursery is an opportunity for each of us to serve the Lord, so we provide each member the joy of serving our children in the nursery four times a year.
Check-In Procedure
If you are visiting Sonlight Village in the children's wing, please stop at the station under the Sonlight Village banner. There you will be asked to fill out a registration form. You will only be asked to fill out a registration form on your first visit. You will also be given a security tag that matches your child's name tag. You and your child will be escorted to your child's room. The nursery worker, wearing an apron, will welcome your child. Parents not working that shift will not be allowed to enter the room - this is strictly a security measure for your child's protection. When the service is over you will need to go to your child's room and turn in your id card or key ring tag to pick up your child.
If we need you for any reason during the service, the number on your security tag which matches your childs id tag, will be projected on the screen in the worship center. We hope you and your child(ren) will have a wonderful visit to Sonlight Village.
Sunday School Hour
Our Sunday school curriculum follows the K-5 workshop rotation model so children of all ages are learning the same lessons in the Bible throughout the year.
We have no ages assigned to the classrooms because we do not place our children in rooms strictly according to age - we evaluate each child according to development and the dynamics of the classroom.
