Presbyterian Church in America

The PCA was formed in 1973 when about 250 congregations, comprising roughly 50,000 members separated from their previous denomination out of concern regarding the compromise of basic Christian doctrines. Having spiritual roots within the Protestant Reformation, particularly in those churches influenced by John Calvin, the PCA is dedicated to the integrity of Scripture, proclaiming salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and seeking to honor God in all we do. To that end the PCA stands as a Reformed, evangelical witness for the Lord Jesus. The PCA is committed to evangelism, Christian education, and doctrinal integrity in its ministers and church officers.

The PCA is a member denomination of the North American Presbyterian and Reformed Churches as well as the National Association of Evangelicals. For more information, check out the PCA website at http://www.pcanet.org/
