Prayer Ministry

My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.
Isaiah 56:7; Mark 11:17

It is our firm belief at Christ Covenant that prayer is the "wind that fills the sails." In other words, all of the ministries and programs in our church must have constant prayer support to be spiritually successful.

Heads Bowed

Christ Covenant's Prayer Ministry includes:

  1. Prayer Chain
  2. Individuals throughout our church are contacted to pray about special needs that arise in people's lives. The e-mail prayer chain notifies people of ongoing needs that individuals can lift up in prayer. Contact the church office by phone: 671-1885 or e-mail: ccpc@christcov.org to place a request on the prayer chain, or enter your request on our Prayer Requests web page.
  3. Ministry Teams
  4. Each ministry team (youth, children, music, etc.) is encouraged to develop a prayer team to pray for their particular ministry.
  5. Praise Prayer Meeting
  6. Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. people gather and elders lead a time of praising God in prayer. It is open to anyone.
  7. Intercessory Prayer Meeting
  8. Wednesday evenings 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. we meet to lift up prayers for the needs of our church. It is open to anyone.
  9. Elders' Ministry of Prayer
  10. Sunday after the worship service elders are available to pray with you.
  11. Prayer Walks
  12. Quarterly prayer walks are planned at the church to pray for ministries on the spot where they occur.

he built a prayer meeting!" -Armin Gesswein
