CAROLINA MOUNTAIN MISSION Summer 2017:
PURPOSE (Why are we here?)
Based on the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:37-40) and the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20): Our youth ministry exists to reach non-believing students, to connect them with other Christians, to help them grow in their faith, and to challenge them to discover their God-given gifts and abilites.
VISION (Where are we going?)
To reach lost students with the gospel, love students into a relationship with Jesus Christ and to equip students to face college/adulthood as a mature follower of Christ.
MISSION (How are we going to get there?)
Education- will be based on God’s Word. Weekly training in Sunday School, clubs, discipleship groups, student leadership, retreats, mission trips, etc.
Each year students need to complete a medical release form in order to participate on any trips.
WHY MISSION TRIPS?
We have a long history here at CCPC of taking students on unique and exciting mission trips. We focus on the development of your child while he/she serves Christ on their mission. It is our intent to challenge and stretch them out of their comfort zones. We have learned that this does two things that really make a difference long term in the life of the student. It helps them discover their absolute need for Christ, and secondly helps them see what He has created them to be. (See the High School and Middle School pages for this year's trip information.)
