MEN'S CAMPOUT
October 23-25
Bandy Creek Campgound in Big South Fork National Recreation Area
Men of Christ Covenant (Fathers & Son’s included) are invited to join us for a fall campout in the Big South Fork Recreation area near Oneida at Bandy Creek Campground for two nights. You will have the opportunity to explore, fish the river and hike the John Litton Farm Loop (Details listed in the Hike Registration).
We will carpool from Christ Covenant at 4PM on Friday along with the use of one of the church vans. Guys are free to drive directly from home or work if it’s more convenient. We will return with arrival at church around 2PM on Sunday.
The hike will begin on Saturday at 10AM leaving from our five campsites (#A7-11). The length is 5.7 miles and should take 3-3.5 hours to complete. You can do the hike only on Saturday if you can't stay the whole campout weekend.
Each person will be responsible for their own shelter and provisions (tent, food, water, campchair, etc). Feel free to share a tent with a partner if you come together. We should have multiple camp stoves available for you to use if needed.
