MEN'S FALL HIKE
Saturday, October 24
John Litton Farm Loop (Big South Fork National Recreation area)
Join us to take in the fall colors in Big South Fork National Recreation Area for a hike along the John Litton Farm loop in the park. For guys not on the Fall Campout in Bandy Creek Campground, plan to meet us at Campsites A7-11 at 10AM to start the hike.
- Distance: ~5.7 miles / The hike is a loop trail, so there is freedom to not complete the full mileage and head back to camp to wait on cars for return.
- Time: 3 to 3.5 hours
- Difficulty: Moderate
- Highlights: You'll hike along Fall Branch to Fall Branch Falls, a scenic waterfall where the path actually allows you to walk right behind the cascading water. The trail then leads to the beautifully preserved 1900s Litton-Slaven Historic Farmstead before looping back through sandstone rock shelters

A carpool will depart CCPC at 7:30AM to drive to the Campground. Return arrival back at church should be around 4-4:30PM.
