Facing my fears...

Dear Friends, Family and Supporters,
Many of you know that I, Julie, used to teach Jazzercise in the states. As we began preparing for the field I had high hopes to one day teach Jazzercise classes in Costa Rica as a way to build relationships with nonbelievers, share the Gospel & invite participants to church. I even changed my email address to Spanish (meencantajazzercise@gmail.com which says “I love Jazzercise”).
 
After language school I began researching to see if teaching Jazzercise could one day be a reality. However, I was disappointed to discover that Jazzercise headquarters won’t allow me to teach classes for free & that my religious visa won’t let me offer classes for profit. Sometimes God changes the desires of our hearts & I’ve always tried to hold these desires loosely knowing that God is the one who directs our paths.
 
At the beginning of the year (how is it August already?) while scrolling through Pinterest I stumbled across REFIT® REVOLUTION, a dance fitness program founded by 3 Christian ladies (Angela, Catherine, & Emily). I quickly fell in love with their program & was informed by Angela that I CAN teach REFIT® for free in Costa Rica.
 
In May I had the opportunity to fly, by myself for the first time in my life (a HUGE hurdle to overcome for those of you who know my grassroots and deep seated timid nature), to the states & attend their Richmond instructor training.

Dreams becoming a reality...

I got back and hit the ground running putting together my first play list & learning all 15 exercise routines. I’m thrilled to announce that my first REFIT® class is launching this Monday, August 7th at 5 AM at the church we attend here in Costa Rica. Our church meets in a large storage unit, which is a great venue for exercise classes.

How you can pray this month...
1. That God would be glorified & that He would lead and direct me.
2. That God would draw non-believers & that lives would be eternally changed
3. That my Spanish would greatly improve...language learning is no easy task.
