Equipping Leaders International

Toward the end of last year, the choir director at Covenant Presbyterian Church asked me to consider traveling with the choir to a country in Eastern Europe.  Over 30 singers, from Covenant and from First Presbyterian of Chattanooga, are traveling to encourage God’s people in that country.

A Different Kind of Teaching Trip

Due to the sensitivity of doing ministry in this country, I will wait until I return to give you more specific details.  However, I will have a number of opportunities to preach and teach, and we will be visiting quite a few locations throughout the country.  Please pray for God’s blessing on our time there.  Here are some specific prayer requests:

·         Safety and ease of travel as we fly and as we drive in country.

·         That God would use His Word, presented in both speaking and song, to encourage His people and to convert those who do not yet know Christ.

·         Health and energy for all who are traveling.  It will be a very full trip, even though we will only be gone 12 days.

·         For God’s direction for the two of us who will be preaching and teaching.

In other news, my ELI travel plans for the remainder of 2017 are solidifying.  I will be taking 5 men with me to Ghana the first two weeks of September and several of us will be teaching conferences on Romans, Christian Education, and Church Leadership while the others will be teaching MINTS courses.  In late September and early October, I will return to Cochabamba, Bolivia to preach a number of times and hopefully also to teach a seminary course.

Thank you for your faithful support of this ministry!  This work would be impossible without your prayers and contributions.

For Christ’s Kingdom,

Dan
