Dear Prayer Partners,
Thank you for partnering in prayer with us! After a mild January and beginning of February, true winter weather finally arrived in mid-February. Several inches of snow are slowly beginning to melt and temperatures have warmed up to near freezing. March 8th we will celebrate International Women’s Day (like Mother’s Day, but more inclusive). You, too, can celebrate Women’s Day by giving flowers, chocolates, cards and well-wishes to those special girls and women in your life!

Current Praise Items
·      The SEND Ukraine team meeting in January went well. We adopted a vision statement that summarizes our team’s goals of helping to develop healthy churches in Ukraine, global disciple-makers, and passionate senders of Ukrainian missionaries to other people groups.
·      Jay has recently had several opportunities to teach including OT 2 and Intro to Missions in Chernivtsi, OT survey at our church and Intro to Missions in Khmelnitsky. Each class brought an opportunity to see believers grow.
·      The SEND Language school has recently added a few more students.
·      Other than a few colds, we have been healthy this winter and have had no serious slips on icy sidewalks (yet).

Current Prayer Requests
1.    Our Ukrainian home church, Resurrection Church, is seeking financial assistance in order to host a family church camp. In the past, these camps have been great opportunities to introduce unbelievers to Jesus. Currently we have $1,500.00 pledged so we are halfway to the goal of $3,000.00. If you would like to donate to this fund, please let us know.

2.    March 12~14, 19~22 Please pray for us as we assist with an English Club outreach sponsored by Cru. Pray that we will provide helpful English lessons, that we will be able to build relationships with unbelievers who attend, and for hearts to be open to the Gospel.

3.    March 23 – March 24 Please pray for MMK 8 (International Missions Conference). Pray for those hosting and speaking at the conference, as well as for those attending. Pray that God will use this time to call more “workers” to the “harvest fields.” Jay will be helping a teammate with a book-table, while Judy will be helping another teammate who will be leading a seminar on teaching children about missions. 4.    April 2 – April 6 Please pray for Jay as he travels to Ivano-Frankivsk to teach a one week intensive Bible College Introduction to Missions course.

5.    Development of ministry plans for the summer.

Thank you for praying with us! We would appreciate hearing how we can pray for you.
