Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you for partnering in prayer with us! We hope that in the midst of all the news about the COVID-19 virus, you are exercising faith in our Lord Jesus who promised
to always be with us, and that you are not living in fear! We arrived in the US a few weeks ago to attend a retreat for missionaries in Birmingham Alabama and then planned to be at our home church in Knoxville for a week. We had tickets to depart to Ukraineon Monday, March 16th, to arrive in Kyiv Tuesday, March 17th. Because of travel  restrictions we were unable to do that. Therefore, we remain in Knoxville until flights resume.

Current Praise Items
·      Feb. 29th - March 8th We had a great time visiting Mountain Brook Community Church and attending their first ever retreat for missionaries! It was a great time of refreshment and relaxation!
·      Jay has had invitations to teach in March (now cancelled), April and May! Of course, we are waiting to see if those classes will actually take place.
·      We are thankful to Knoxville friends who have supplied us with a temporary home!

Current Prayer Requests
1.    Please pray for Jessie, the intern (short-term missionary) that arrived to Kyiv in February. Due to the ever-changing decisions necessitated by the COVID-19 virus, SEND quickly sent her home. Please pray for her adjustment to life in the US and for God to speak to her through her experiences in Ukraine.

2.    Please pray for the country of Ukraine amid all the difficulties brought on by the COVID-19 virus. Up to this point there have been relatively few reported cases. Pray that God will spare the country, give peace to His children in the midst of uncertainty, give wisdom to the government as they make decisions and use this to draw unbelievers to Himself.

3.    Pray for our teammates and church in Ukraine to have opportunities to
share the Gospel during this challenging time.

4.    Pray for us as we seek God’s guidance in what to do during our unexpected
time in the US and for wisdom in returning to Ukraine at the appropriate time.

Thank you for praying with us! We would appreciate hearing how we can pray for you.
