RETURNING TO TEACH BIBLICAL STEWARDSHIP IN CERTIFIED COURSE INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

My Fall was packed.

Upon returning from three weeks of conferences in Uganda, I moved on to a large gathering of ELI staff in Chattanooga.  It was encouraging to witness the Lord's faithfulness to ELI.  Many new staff are being added as God continues to impact leaders around the world.  What an encouragement to be part of such strategic ministry!  God has placed us on the front line of the Spirit's work.  Thank you for your prayers and partnership in making this possible.

RETURNING TO RWANDA AND DRC
I am making preparations for returning to Rwanda and the DR Congo this Thursday, Feb 20.   God has called a team (Dave Forbes, Larry Byars) to teach Biblical Stewardship to the top leaders of the churches in both nations.  These "trainers of trainers" will include 20 from each region making a total of 40.

As I have shared in the past, this second time of teaching the course will now go deeper in content and length. The pastors will hear the content again, interact in small groups, then they will demonstrate their grasp of the content by teaching summaries in
our presence. At the end, we will give certificates for them to launch out as teams to teach their peers and churches.

As I have managed an additional responsibility for successfully handing Uganda's work over to others, my focus has shifted towards the development of a school in Rwanda/DRC.  I have met with a team here for many weeks, we have interviewed leaders in the exploration phase and God appears to be blessing.  We are in the process of developing curriculum resources with ThirdMill, Ligonier Ministries, Vitrual Classroom technology and MINTS.  Now the process is focusing on many challenges of meeting government requirements for the pastors.

I won't bore you with the details but I need your help.  This is a God-sized task that is doomed to fail if He doesn't move to grant us approval in the eyes of the government.  Please pray fervently.

For God to give favor with the Rwandan government
Thanks to the Father for His Provision to go these next two weeks
For safety in travel, connections, luggage to arrive with the team
For protection from the Coronavirus
For the Lord to Prepare the Pastors to receive God's Word
For the Team to clearly communicate what God wants them to know
For our families back home while we are gone to serve Christ
