Happy Thanksgiving!

How Africans give thanks

joeln22020

In spite of the challenges of this year - as Sons and Daughters of the Father - we are deeply thankful for His grace and provision He gave this year.  Right now there is an unceasing celebration around God's throne, and according to the picture He gives us in Rev 5:9-13, it reaches from the top of Heaven down to the lowly Creatures under the earth.   This is a big deal.  Heaven is unruffled by viruses and political upheavals on earth. Thanksgiving is an unceasing event at God's Throne.

9 And they sang a new song, saying,
“Worthy are you to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation,
10 and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God,
and they shall reign on the earth.”
11 Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice,
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might
and honor and glory and blessing!”
13 And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”

So bring on the Thanksgiving among us!

I am thankful to Our Savior God. I'm thankful for Redemption and Adoption. I'm thankful for you through your faithfulness and prayer partnership this year of equipping pastors.  I'm thankful that God allowed me to fully recover after I contracted Covid a few weeks ago.  I''m thankful that Sarah was protected from this disease.

I'm thankful for the opportunity to continue serving Jesus. I'm just plain thankful.

The Kingdom of God Marches on!

Covid and politics are no match for the power of Christ.  Since Jesus is a Savior on a Mission to reach the World, I'm certain He doesn't back losing movements. it is thrilling to be in on His plan.

I am slightly over two weeks from the Certified Course Instructor training for Rwanda.  Joining with Dave Forbes and Todd Bradly, our team will begin teaching two CCI conferences on the Book of Hebrews to pastors.  We are doing a "dry run" in a week to check for bugs in teaching over Zoom.  Then we will launch out. Translations should be completed and the pastors will gather.

Covid has not stopped my work. Keep praying and enabling this eternal work through your partnership.

Again, I am thankful for you.
