jmoc1UPDATE: Leaving in Two Weeks for Nebbi and Jinja.
Thank you for your partnership and many prayers.

Our team is preparing to teach the second half of Romans and opportunities have been opening for the team. I have been emailing George Byabagambi (picture above) to finalize some plans to once again bring 5 pastors from Adjumani (on the border of South Sudan).  The civil war there has hurt many people, with close to 100,000 in UN refugee camps near the town.  These 5 pastors came last year and as of today, the Lord raised funds to bring them down once again so they can complete the Romans study.

By teaching these brothers, we will be impacting the churches in the war-zone regions and the camps. As a result, many nations will be touched. It is humbling to see how God has used you to make this happen.

There have been many challenges, but each has been met. Today while preparing to preach, my daughter had a second and more extensive Ablation procedure.  She has suffered with an Afib condition for a year, and though the procedure was risky God has answered prayers.  We just heard that 4 hrs of surgery finally resulted in a heart that is now finally in rhythm! They did hit an artery which is painful, pray for her healing

Additionally, please pray for me as I am preaching three messages at a Missions Conference at First Presbyterian, Stanley, NC.  Sarah and I leave tomorrow but will face Hurricane Michael's remnants as we drive into the Charlotte area.  Flash flooding will be happening as we are traveling to arrive by 4PM.  Please pray for God to "part the waters" and protect us.

After the Mission conference, we return Sunday and then leave the following Wed for St.Augustine FL to participate in the annual ELI staff training and meetings.  I am appealing to new ELI staff members to join me in multiplying our impact in East Africa.  Pray for the Lord to raise up more laborers for His harvest.

Sarah and I then return home on Sat from FL and then I leave the following Friday for two weeks in Uganda. Help! Please pray for God's enabling to do all these things He has in store.

God has provided for the conferences, but I have an outstanding need to build up my General living expenses in light of all these necessary works.  So pray for the Lord to meet every detail. Your partnership of prayer in these details is making a difference.  Thank you and God bless you!

PLEASE PRAY FOR THE FOLLOWING...
Thanks to God for your partnership with me in this upcoming work.
Clarity in our communicating.
Spirit-filled understanding for the pastors and multiplication of the message of Romans.
Safety and health.
God provided for my travel CPAP equipment allowing me to continue traveling in difficult regions.
