January 31st Tiana was born to Roger and Jandery! She is beautiful and healthy. Both Mom and baby (and dad) are doing amazing.

Sadly we had to say 'see ya later' to the Spradleys this month as they returned to the States. Liz was suffering health issues, and Jesse received an unexpected job offer. So after much prayer and counsel they were at peace that God was leading them back to the Sates. We are all grieving their move, but we know that this is God's plan.

Our team held it's biannual 2-day planning meetings. This meeting included our newest national partners. We are now about a 60/40% MTW missionaries/national partners team! The meeting was held almost entirely in Spanish (which made us Gringos mentally drained the days following, haha). But, the biggest joy was seeing and hearing all the wisdom and insight from our national partners. They have brought so much to the table and we are so blessed to serve alongside of them.

On the 26th a three person team from Trinity/Hershey PA arrived for a medical brigade. Since their trip will end in March, I'll save their picture for next month's news letter!

Tegucigalpa

The team has been hosting a Sunday evening Bible Study and it's going really well with good attendance. We are hoping to take a trip in March to visit the Halberts and attend the Bible Study ourselves.

Kathy got to take a trip at the beginning of the month and spend two days with the Halberts and their sweet kiddos. Their parents are doing an AMAZING job parenting these beautiful babies. Ford will turn four this month, the triplets turn one-year in April, and Catherine will be three in June.

They welcomed a single girl, Rebecca, who will be with them for six months to help Rachel with the kids, allowing both Aaron and Rachel more time to devote to the Church Plant.

The Family

The oldest four participated in the Annual National Knowledge Bowl for Bilingual schools. Their school had the privilege of hosting this year. John and Kathy and a few other team mates got the opportunity to read for the event. Evan's middle school team made it all the way to the quarter finals. Josiah's jv team and Bek's varsity team did great even though they didn't place. Abigail was in her element as personal assistant to the coordinator of the event. Pictured are Rebekah and her team praying before one of their competitions.

Our situation with Elias has taken a turn. We were hoping to try for his tourist visa so that we could bring him with us to the States this summer. We have decided not to do that. His birth mother is now wanting to petition the judge to receive Elias back. He is still currently with us and will be for as long as God wills.
