At the beginning of the month we were joined by Wade, Paul and Erin from PA for a small medical brigade. the people of La Ceiba were blessed by their service, as was our team.

We got a visit from Kevin, a former intern, who we have all missed. The boys from Peter Project were 'just a little' excited to see him. Ok a LOT excited!

We currently have Jerry and Randy from FL who are here installing an AC unit for the clinic and seminary. sorry to those of you who are headed our way this summer - no AC unit in the dorms.

PETER PROJECT is doing well. It's not a ministry that you see a lot of immediate fruit from. It's tedious and slow. But we are so thankful to Ventura and Candy for being so loving and patient and firm with the boys.

DOOR OF HOPE is having some changes. As Shannon is transitioning out (preparing to move back to the States), Alma is taking on the roll of director. The girls are responding well to the love that Alma is showing them and we trust that she will 'earn their respect' very quickly.

BIBLE INSTITUTE has been holding a seminary class through Birmingham Theological Institute. The group of adults have been consistent in their class attendance and participation. Very encouraging for our team!

MEDICAL MINISTRY is seeing some changes. Dr Roger will be starting his one year residency assignment with the Honduran government. He has been assigned to the hospital here in La Ceiba! This is a huge answer to prayer. However, while he is fulfilling this requirement, we are in search of a Honduran licensed doctor to help out.

CONSTRUCTION is back on hold until we can raise some more funds. We are SO CLOSE to finishing the clinic and seminary! For six years John has been managing this construction site. We will all be happy, although he more than any, to see it all complete.

Tegucigalpa
We (just John and Kathy) got to take a trip to Teguc and attend the weekly Bible Study. It was such a joyful time to be able see the LORD working through the Halberts and their teammates.
Our trip also allowed us to take care of some residency and other mission legal work that can only be done in the capital city.
On our way back home we stopped at the language school and were able to spend some time with the Marlows who will be joining the team in Teguc next month.

The Family
We all our tearing up when we think about the fact that we only have three short months left with the girls living with us. Abigail has made a college decision, UMHB in TX. Rebekah is anticipating living with the Davis family in SC, working and possibly taking a course at a local community college.
Our teenage boys just wont quit growing! Evan checks every day to see if he is taller than mom. Not as of today, but he will be soon. They are both doing very well in school.
The situation with Elias is the same as last month. We haven't seen the judge yet, but the month of April will bring about some meetings and possible decisions. As you can tell from the picture, Elias got hit by chicken pox monster this month.
