aj1East Asia- I had the privilege of befriending these 2 guys: Russel and James. They indicated that they want to follow Christ, and they are set to be followed-up by some longer-term missionaries in the area. Also pictured are Will and John, two teammates.

I recently traveled with a group of U.S. staff and students to East Asia. Our purpose was to love college students in a foreign culture and share the Gospel with them as God allowed. I always find it fascinating how this culture operates. Many elements represent a unique part of God's image: The community-oriented lifestyle points to God as the relational One. Just as the Father, Son and Spirit have enjoyed relationship from eternity past, so people are made to live for one another. I enjoy understanding a more collective mindset than my background gives. Overall, our team grew in sharing the Gospel, loving each other, and respectfully engaging a different culture. Thank you for your partnership in this Gospel work.

aj2Here I am at an Introductory Church History class in July.

Prayer Update:
-The EKU Staff men are launching a Freshmen men's program: a once-a-week, large group gathering. Includes a meal, Biblical content, and a time for discussion followed by a chance to play sports afterward.
-We are praying the Lord will use this endeavor  to win young men to a true relationship with Christ.
-We hope to show the servanthood of Christ by providing this meal, Bible content, and community mindset.
-Will you pray alongside us?

"You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." -1 Peter 2:9

Thank you for your partnership in the Gospel!
