I met Emily this past fall at the beginning of her freshman year when she began coming to the Bible study Dakota (my senior co-leader) and I lead for south campus girls. She has been faithful in Bible study, discipleship, and Cru team. It has been a joy to watch her grow in love and knowledge of the Lord and watch her take steps of faith to move closer to Him. This spring she made the decision that she wanted to rededicate her life to Christ and walk in obedience through baptism. On Easter Sunday, standing with her family, I got to watch and celebrate with her as she was baptized by our pastor at Brainerd Baptist. As another step of faith, this summer she has decided to go on a summer mission with Cru to Daytona Beach, Florida for three weeks of leadership and evangelism training. She is currently raising $2,500 of support for her trip and needs help and prayers. I am so excited for her to grow even more this summer in Dayton and see the beach for the first time (crazy right?).

Prayer Requests

-PRAISE: I passed my TEAS exam and got into EMT school for the fall at Chatt State!
-Encouragement to trust the Lord and His timing and provision for students raising support for summer missions.
-Peace and perseverance for all of our students going into finals after a long spring semester.
