mcintyred2Dear prayer supporters,

Thank you for your faithful prayers and financial partnership throughout 2019. We had a great Thanksgiving outreach (picture above) last month. Now as the year comes to a close, we have several wonderful gospel opportunities in the coming weeks. Here's how
you can pray.

1) Our future pastor Jordan had some serious complications from his weight loss surgery and food couldn't get into his stomach, so they had to do a second major 6-hour surgery to make another hole in his stomach and reroute his intestines. For the past month our team has been caring for his wife and kids and making trips to and from the hospital. Please pray for Jordan to heal quickly and for him to be able to process the difficulties he has faced in a healthy way. His first one-year contract with us will start after Chinese New Year.

2) On December 15 we're having a Christmas park ministry and December 20th is our Christmas craft outreach. Pray for new families to come and have fun and hear the good news. Pray especially for Jennifer to have wisdom as she is usually overwhelmed
with the many women who want to talk to her and hear about our church. Pray that advertising for these activities will attract many non-Christians.

3) Our Christmas service is January 22 and later in the evening we'll do Christmas caroling in the community. Pray for many non-Christians to attend the Sunday service and for the Gospel to be presented clearly. Thomas is preaching 3 times this month
in Chinese so it will be a busy month! Every year we're also invited by the local school to dress up as Santa and an angel to visit the students and parents on Christmas Eve. This year is no exception. However, they always let Thomas publicly say whatever he
wants to all the parents for a few minutes, so he will once again share the Good News about the real meaning of Christmas. Pray for open hearts as this is truly the only time many of these Buddhist/Taoist parents will ever hear the Gospel. Throughout the year
we meet people in the community who say they first saw us at the school in the Santa outfit!
