Dear prayer supporters,

Due to the Coronavirus, the Taiwanese government is no longer allowing foreigners that don't already hold permanent resident cards to enter the island. Here's how you can pray.

1) We were planning on having our home assignment this summer, but it is looking like we will have to possibly postpone until the summer of 2021 if the situation in the US continues to deteriorate. It is hard to do fundraising and deputation when churches are meeting online and travel restrictions are in place. Please pray for our financial support to stay steady if we need to extend our term another year. With many churches and families taking financial hits due to the crisis, we are expecting it to eventually affect our support level. Our agency is also frantically trying to get short-term workers off the island as flights around the world are cancelled.

2) We give thanks that Jennifer is recovering from her scooter accident, but emotionally it has been hard for her to be at home so much and unable to drive and meet with people. Please pray for her to recover and heal from this very serious accident, and for her pain to subside.

3) Pray for wisdom as our team decides on how to conduct ministry and be a witness during the crisis. We are monitoring government regulations and are looking at perhaps cancelling our church services starting this week as more cases of the virus are appearing in the local news.

4) Praise God that Jennifer's church planting conference in Taichung was a success (see picture above)! We had about 30 missionaries meet at a retreat center for 3 days to pray, discuss strategy, and plan for the future of our agency's church planting efforts
for the coming years.

In Him,
Thomas & Jennifer McIntyre
