Dear prayer supporters,

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support of our work in Taiwan. Things are a bit tense because of the Coronavirus (picture of our worship team praying before the Sunday service). Even though Taiwan hasn't been hit hard by it, there is a lot of anxiety/paranoia and government regulations--both resulting in a general hesitance to meet in public places. Here's how you can pray.

1) Ashlee and Tyler are at home doing online learning since their school has been closed this week due to fear of the virus. Pray for us to stay healthy. We praise God that on Sunday our church had good attendance despite the virus situation -- but everyone was wearing masks, which was a funny sight to see.

2) Giving in January was quite low. Please pray that our family will receive the needed funds to support our work in Taiwan. 

3) One of Jennifer's job as OMF Taiwan's Church Planting Coordinator is planning the church planting conference from March 13-15. Please pray that this important conference will help struggling church plants gain some wisdom from growing church plants, and that all of our church plants will improve in effectiveness as a result. After the conference, Jennifer will start making ministry visits to all the church plants across the island.

4) Thomas is planning our upcoming 9-week summer home assignment. We'll be doing these shorter home assignments every other summer because of our children's schooling in Taiwan. We arrive in the US May 31 and, Lord willing, return to Taiwan August 5. We'll be traveling all over the US and will do our best to see as many of you as we can. We have been trying to reach out to churches to schedule speaking engagements, so if your church hasn't responded to us yet and you are on the leadership team please encourage them to do so. 			We spent Chinese New Year in Tainan county at the home of one of our church members. They made a large, delicious seafood feast!
