Youth Intercultural Training

“We think of our time down at CIT often. Our children brought their CIT binders along, and oh, how they have helped our kids remember steps along our journey and to transition to life here (we're almost fully settled in). Thank you for all you do to pour into so many children's lives! You truly are making a difference!”

The above quote was received recently from a parent from one of Kathy’s former students now in France. How encouraging knowing that your ministry is making a difference!

This fall term saw a record enrollment for us with a total of 48 adults and 19 children! We had trainees from 5 countries headed to 21 countries associated with 16 mission agencies.
There were some real challenges during this term including a sickness (Hand, Foot, Mouth disease) that touched all of the programs. Nevertheless, God did His work. Here are a few comments from these participants:
This has been, by far, the most significant, comprehensive, life changing, affirming and challenging piece of my missionary preparation. – Africa
There are few places I’ve been more understood and championed than at CIT. Their care and commitment to seeing us succeed and thrive on the field is an absolute gift. – Europe
This course needs to be on the pre-flight list of anyone who wants to be effective in the mission field. - Latin America
CIT asked all the hard questions that brought up real life missions scenarios, issues and emotions. CIT prepared me to deal with difficult situations in following God’s call. - Canada
Our winter term registrations have just about reached capacity again!

Colorado
Our recent trip to CO in September was so wonderful! We are blessed with so many friends and supporters who encouraged us along the way. A special thanks goes to Fred and Cindy who provided base housing and a vehicle for our travels in the state!

Debrief Retreat
We will be having another unscheduled Debrief Retreat in December. The one this summer went so well it was decided to offer an additional retreat before the end of the year. Pray for those coming that they will experience God’s refreshing and renewal.

Strategic Meetings
Partner Meeting: On November 29 and 30 we will be hosting on campus our annual Partnership Meeting for those agencies that partner together with CIT in missionary training. Nine mission agencies will be represented this year. We have a full agenda ready for action! Pray for wisdom and wonderful relationships together as we seek to enhance the ministry and impact of CIT worldwide.

Executive Leadership Team: Following the Partner meeting our executive leadership team will continue to meet Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 for further strategic thinking for the next five years.
