Update from John and Kathy Clow - January 2017

The Clow Communicator  -  January 2017

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. - Colossians 3:12

CONSTRUCTION IS BACK UP AND RUNNING!!! Through very generous end of the year donations, we are able to return to the completion of the clinic, Bible Institute and mission offices. We have a new baby on the team (Finn was born to the McLaughlins on Dec 26).Ventura and Candy; Raul and Alma officially joined the team as national partners. The Spradleys, through much prayer and counsel, have made the decision to return to the States. We will have to say a very sad goodbye to them in February. Our hearts are heavy and grieving, but we know this is the Lord's guiding.

Exciting Times in Tegucigalpa!  Photo below, left to right: Miranda and Eric Marlow; Aaron and Rachel Halbert; Ely and Jouse (national partners - Josue serves as the pastor).A house for the church plant has been rented; it will be for the church offices as well as provide a meeting space for up to 70 people. It will be fun to watch the LORD grow His church in this location. Their first Bible Study starts Feb 5th!

Facts on the Family:

On Jan 1 Kathy and Bek were on a plane to the States. Just a few days prior we discovered that Bek had a large ovarian cyst. Praise to the Father for His provisions in using several doctors (who have served on short term teams with us) to guide us through and help get us to South Carolina. On Jan 3 she was operated on and all turned out well. She has recovered and on Jan 22 we were able to return home to John, Abi and the boys. Our Xterra broke down AGAIN...we are selling it and purchasing the Spradley's Honda. The LORD has provided half of the money. We are still in need of the other half.

Praise the LORD for providing the funding so that construction can start back up.
Praise the LORD for growing His church in Tegucigalpa.

Pray for the Spradleys as they transition to the States.
For our team as we grieve their departure.
Pray for continued healing of various health problems we have been suffering with.
Pray for unity amongst our team as we grow and learn to work bilingually with one another.
Pray for the first Bible study on Feb 5th in Tegucigalpa.
