SUMMER MISSION TEAMS

This summer we had the privilege of hosting the following teams:
•Medical team from NC ; Grace Community from NC
•Faith Pres from SC
•Christ Community Pres from FL
•Trinity Pres from PA;Tom and Crew from CA
•Houston Lake from GA ; New City from GA
•Christ Covenant from AL
•Briarwood from AL

We are so thankful for all the ministry that these teams accomplished while here. From meeting the physical needs medically, to shelter, to food...and most importantly spiritually. Our national pastors were uplifted and encouraged, our mercy ministries (single moms home and street boys center) were blessed, and the full time missionaries here were strengthened. Above all the name of our LORD was lifted high for all to hear and see!

At the end of every week we held a debrief to hear from the teams...the good, the bad and the ugly. We were encouraged by the positive and look with excitement for the changes we will implement to make next summer an even better experience. One thing that was implemented with one team this summer was a prayer walk, birthed from John's trip to Germany.

IMMEDIATE NEED
We have just received notice from MTW that our mercy ministry account is in great need of funding. This is the account that Dr Roger, Angie (the nurse), and other clinic employees (guards) are paid from. We are in need of one time and ongoing monthly support to meet the salary needs and operating costs. PLEASE PRAY, PLEASE ADVOCATE TO OTHERS, PLEASE GIVE so that mercy ministries can continue.

Tegucigalpa Team
We are excited for the Halberts that they are back home in Honduras with their sweet baby girl triplets and their two toddlers. We are blessed to be able to come alongside of Aaron and Rachel and encourage them as they minister diligently to start a church plant in the capital of the Honduras. Our newest teammates, The Marlows, arrived in country at the beginning of August. They will be living a few hours away from the capital for their first 6 month plus to learn the language. When ready, they will join the Halberts in Teguc and work alongside of them in establishing a church.

 PRAYERS FOR SEPTEMBER
•John and Kathy will be traveling to Panama to meet with all team leaders throughout Central America and Caribbean. Please pray for our travels and for our kids who will be staying with team mates. (pray for our team mates too!!!)
•Several team mates will be traveling for various reasons throughout September. Pray for safety.
•Pray for our ministry finances; that we would trust in our Father to meet our needs.
•Pray for our national pastors; for their knowledge of the Word to be strengthened.
