CHILDREN'S MINISTRY - We need people to serve our children and their families on Sunday mornings! From nursery age through 5 graders, we have spots to fill! Contact Amanda Henrichs at ahenrichs@christcov.org, and we will get back to you about available rooms, ages, times, etc. Thank you!
COMPASSION/BACKPACK MINISTRY: From September through April we join Compassion Ministries to pack food for 130 Farragut Primary and Intermediate School students in need. Once a month we meet down the street at Cornerstone Church of God (where Compassion Ministries is housed) and package food that can be inconspicuously placed in student backpacks each Friday during the school year. Everyone is welcome to serve!
SENIOR MEALS MINISTRY - we partner with local churches and prepare/deliver meals to elderly in Farragut. We especially are looking for drivers - individuals or families to deliver the meals to these folks, most of whom are homebound. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, let us know HERE.
SUNDAY MORNING VIDEO DESK- once a month or less! Can you click a mouse? And can you serve once a month or less? Basic computer knowledge is all that's needed to run the slides on Sunday morning. Contact Chris Blake at cblake@christcov.org if you are willing to serve!
THE GREETER MINISTRY is in need of several volunteers to help welcome our congregation and guests on Sunday mornings. This is a simple yet vital ministry in the life of our church and can be an excellent opportunity to serve. Please prayerfully consider if this is an area where you can volunteer! CLICK HERE to sign-up!
VOLUNTEER SET UP CREW: Your church is in need of a group of people who would be on call for occasional event set up. If you would be willing to help from time to time with this important task it will be GREATLY appreciated. For more information or to join this team, please contact David Forbes, Facility Director, at dforbes@christcov.org.
IF YOU ARE RETIRED and have handyman skills, we can use your skills around the church for minor repairs and maintenance. Or, if you are able to create and manage a maintenance schedule for the church vans, we would love your help. Neither of these is a significant investment of time, but would be of great service to the Lord and your church. Please sign up here.
HELPING SINGLE MOTHERS-- It’s hard to be a single parent. A recent study by the Restoration House revealed that around 40% of Knox County families are led by single-parents. Would you like to get involved and help a mother and her children? Contact Susan Horn to help with this ministry.
SERVING THE HOMELESS– Want to learn more about how you can serve the homeless at Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries? Contact David Forbes.
KAIROS TORCH Youth Prison Ministry at Mountain View Youth Development Center in Dandridge. If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please contact the church for Jim Kamerman's number.
USHERS: Ushers are needed for the 9:30 and 10:50 a.m worshp services. For more information, please contact Todd Kohlbusch.
