Christ Covenant Youth

Support families in raising young adults who are independently dependent on Christ.

Our vision is to build relationships with students that go beyond surface level developing them through prayer, discipleship, and service, trusting God to make disciples whose identity is firmly rooted in Christ.

Our purpose is to serve as a Godly resource challenging, guiding, and encouraging students to build a foundation on the uncompromising Truth of Scripture while treating others with the unwavering love of Jesus Christ, finding their identity in God's Grace, so they may create disciples wherever they go.

  • Teaching Scriptural Truth
  • Attentive to Student and Family Needs
  • Love Unconditionally
  • Excellence, Not Perfection

 Colossians 1:9-10

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God…

We have a long history here at CCPC of taking students on unique and exciting mission trips. We focus on the development of your child while he/she serves Christ on their mission. It is our intent to challenge and stretch them out of their comfort zones. We have learned that this does two things that really make a difference long term in the life of the student. It helps them discover their absolute need for Christ, and secondly helps them see what He has created them to be.  (See the High School and Middle School pages for this year's trip information.)

This mission camp experience is designed to intentionally stretch students both physically, mentally and spiritually in an effort to open their eyes to the truth about God and the world they live in. Our hope is that students leave with a different outlook on God and mankind. We intentionally slow students down by taking them away from the fruitless daily distractions they are bombarded with like video games, cell phone etc.. In so doing we feel like this helps the student focus on the fact that what they do in this life really does matter and that they can make a significant difference if they are willing to whole-heartedly serve others through word and deed.

Payment Deadlines:
$200 Nonrefundable Deposit - Monday, February 10
$325 Payment - Wednesday, June 10 (trip MUST be paid in full)

Packing List

Each year students need to complete a medical release form in order to participate on any trips.

Fundraising Information:

Support Letter - Students are encouraged to write and send out support letters to family and friends. This allows others to join you in prayer and funding for your mission trip. Click the link for a guide on how to write a support letter.

Work - Please respond to this email if your child would like to be put on a list for jobs that our church members post. Chris will create a group chat with all students interested in participating. As members contact Chris with jobs (lawn mowing, leaf blowing, weeding, babysitting, dog-sitting, etc.); Chris will post the job to the group chat. The first to respond will be given the members information to set up the day and time for job completion. Chris will NOT attend job sites with students. Parents will need to be with any student that needs adult supervision.

Amazon Smile - We have created an amazon smile account for Christ Covenant Youth Missions. All you have to do is shop through this link https://smile.amazon.com/ch/62-1589059 and Amazon donates 0.5% to the designated non-profit. People can also go on their Amazon account and designate Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church (Knoxville, TN) under AmazonSmile and Charities list in settings. However, you must shop through smile.amazon.com for the donation to occur. It may not seem like a lot but the more people that purchase through Amazon Smile, the more money we can raise. Please encourage others to do the same! ***The 0.5% comes from Amazon, the shopper is not being charged more to cover this percentage.***
