9 Days Old

We are so excited to share that Wallace Aaron Halbert was born on April 19th, at 12:29am.  He weighed 9lbs 8oz and was 22 inches long.  Mom and baby are doing well and we are starting to get into a good routine as a family of 6.  The other kids are loving him.  Emma Kate and William like to hold him multiple times a day and Warren likes making sure he has his pacifier close.

We chose the name Wallace because: 1. We needed another "W" name and 2. We loved the meaning.  It means foreigner or stranger.  Our hope and prayer is that Wallace knows from an early age that he is a foreigner on this earth and his home in heaven.

We had two winners in our weight and date contest.  One person guessed that he would be born on the 19th and the closest weight guess was 9lbs 5oz.  They will be receiving a bag of Honduran coffee that was roasted here in East Tennessee.

Support Raising Update

We have had another exceptional month of giving. We have received several unexpected gifts that have significantly helped us and greatly encouraged us. Now all we are waiting on is finishing up that last 30% in monthly donations. We are very hopeful that the Lord will provide for our final monthly donation needs in the near future. We are very excited about getting to share with you how the Lord provides.

We used the picture below in an earlier update, but we feel like it tells an accurate story of support raising. We feel like we are running across America (Jelly, Warren's stuffed elephant, in hand), telling anyone we can about what the Lord is doing in Honduras and prayerful that the Lord brings in the funding.

We can't tell you how grateful we are for all your support through your prayers and donations.

Praise:
-Praise the Lord for the safe birth of Wallace.
-We are grateful for another great month of fund raising.
-Praise the Lord that we have continued to be able to connect with lots churches who are interested in the work in Honduras.

Prayer:
-Please continue to pray that all these meetings that we have had over the past few months would result in the funding we need to reach the field.
-Please continue to pray with us towards a summer departure for the field.
-There are a number of administrative tasks that we need to take care of prior to getting to the field. We would ask you to pray that we are able to accomplish all the details fairly easily.

Much love & prayers,
