halberts mar21

Warmest greetings from the whole Halbert family.  We are excited to send this update and share with you about all the the Lord has been and is doing to get us to Honduras.  It is always a joy share with you and we hope and pray that you are encouraged as you read, praise the Lord with us, and pray for what the Lord is doing in Honduras.

halmar2SUPPORT RAISING UPDATE
In February, we finished our last training with Mission to the World. The only things holding us back from transitioning to the field are having this next baby and final funding. Our support has been building over the past several months. By the grace of the Lord:

-This past December we received our largest end of they year giving ever. We are so humbled, encouraged, and grateful for the Lord's goodness through the generosity of so many.
-We have had an encouraging number of meetings with churches and individuals over the past couple of months.
-We have had numerous people connect us with churches or connect us with individuals, in person and via Zoom, who might be interested in supporting us and the work in Honduras.
-We have been greatly encouraged by so many people who have mentioned that they are earnestly praying along with us.
-We are still lacking about 30% in monthly donations, but we are very encouraged at all that has been going on these past few months. We would ask that you keep praying with us towards a departure date of this summer. We very much look forward to sharing with you soon about how the Lord provides our remaining funding.

halmar3FAMILY UPDATE
When we send out our next update we will be adjusting to a new baby in the house. We are only a month and a few days way from the due day of our next little boy. The whole family is getting excited about baby #4. He is due April 25th.

We thought it would be fun to have people guess the weight and date/time this baby is born. We will send the winners a bag of Honduran coffee roasted here in East Tennessee. If you want to guess, just reply to our email with the weight and the date/time you think this baby boy will be born. We will send a bag to the winner of the weight and the winner of the date/time. For reference, Emma Kate - 8LBS 9oz, William 9LBS, Warren 8LBS 6oz.

halmar5The rest of the family is doing well. Maggie has been participating in a couple of Bible studies and very much enjoying them. Alex has been traveling and visiting churches. Emma Kate and William start soccer this coming week. They are very excited about it. We celebrated Warren’s second birthday last month and we are very much looking forward to celebrating his next birthday on the field.

PRAISE
-Praise the Lord that we have still been able to connect with a significant number of churches and individuals over the past few months
-Praise the Lord for a healthy pregnancy for Maggie and baby.
-Praise the Lord for the great end of the year giving we received
-Praise the Lord we have been able to accomplish all the MTW training requirements

PRAYER
-Please pray that all these meetings that we have had over the past few months would result in the funding we need to reach the field
-Please pray with us towards a summer departure
-Please pray for a healthy remainder of this pregnancy and a safe delivery. This will be our first child born in the US, so we are very excited about getting a birth certificate in the hospital and all the other little differences

Much love & prayers,
Alex and Maggie Halbert
