Dear Family and Friends:

We just returned from two beautiful cities in Poland, Kraków and Warsaw, with a combined population of about 4 million. Even though they are two completely different cities they both need the gospel! Of course we believe the best evangelistic method is the planting of new churches, so we are excited how God is moving in the hearts of men and women in Poland who have the desire to plant churches.

In the picture above we are having a wonderful dinner in the home of Andrzej, a denominational leader in Warsaw. We were surprised when he asked us, "Do you think I'm too old to start a church?" Many years ago he planted a church in Warsaw which grew and started other churches, then he became the president of his denomination and is known as "the evangelical pope of Poland". At the age of 62 he described to us that God recently gave him the desire to plant another church in order to reach his city. Of course we replied, "We are never too old to do God's will so we will help you in any way we can!"

Presently, there are helping two church plants and another one that will start in the fall. We have also helped begin a network of believers in both cities who have the desire to train others to start churches. Thanks to our home church, Cedar Springs in Knoxville, Timothy Keller's book, Center Church will be published in Polish before the end of the year. This is a great book which outlines the principles for reaching cities with the gospel. Three men have already been trained as trainers so we look forward to how God will use them to train others in their cities as well as in other cities of Poland.

Please pray
1. God will give all of us wisdom as we take each step towards reaching the cities of Poland.
2. Adam & Klaudia, who started their church, in March will reach the northwest region of Warsaw.
3. Saško and his team will find common ground for reaching unbelievers in Kraków.
4. Andrzej and Ursula plan to start a new church in the center of Warsaw.
3. Nate, David, Piotr and Przemek will train others to plant churches in other cities.
4. Center Church will be translated into Polish and ready for publishing by December.

We praise God for all of you! Your partnership with us in equipping, resourcing and training leaders in Central and Eastern Europe is producing much fruit. Please continue to pray for us and for our local church planters and trainers.
