We pray the Lord will give you a blessed and Christ-filled Advent Season!  We love this time of year because it begins with Thanksgiving and closes with the remembrance of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
May King Jesus who became a man, lived and died in our place, and rose again in victory be the joy of your heart in this season! 

A Road Trip to Remember
This message of thanks is delayed because last week I was on the road helping my sister, Janet Stuart, move from Tacoma, Washington to Chattanooga, Tennessee.  We left Tacoma last Tuesday in a small U-Haul truck and, protected by the prayers of God’s people, managed to stay ahead of the winter storm that was bearing down on our route.  After many adventures (think mountain roads, ice, and strong winds) over several long days of driving we arrived in Chattanooga late Saturday night in the midst of a heavy rain storm.

God was very gracious.  As the Scripture says, “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him.” We definitely felt protected on this trip!

Susan and I are thankful for you, even though we missed telling you on Thanksgiving Day!  We are so blessed to have this faithful group of partners who pray and give and so join us in the work of extending Christ’s Kingdom.  We thank God for each of you and trust you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day, remembering God’s faithful provision over this past year.
