Celebration!
In late November we will be celebrating the 20th year anniversary of our CIT Partnership! 18 mission agencies have partnered together to provide excellent pre-field missionary training. We will be hosting our annual Partner meeting here on campus Nov. 26-28 to do business and to celebrate!  This Partnership of agencies working together has been a great success! To date, we have now trained over 3,500 missionaries together! Rejoice with us! Please pray for a fruitful meeting together.

Trending Now
It is so interesting to watch trends occurring here at CIT. For the last few terms we have had a significant increase in the number of singles coming to training. This term just under 60% of our enrollment is single and mostly young. Last term it was just under 50%. It is so exciting to see the younger generation stepping up to serve the Lord, many heading to difficult places in the world.

Kathy's Transition
I am no longer teaching in the teen class except to substitute when needed.  That “when needed” time came recently when the new teacher had a precious baby boy the last week of the term.  It was fun to jump in again…and with the winter flu season coming, there will probably be other opportunities.  So, what do I do now?  Well, I go to my new little office every day that we are in session to continue to oversee the CIT Kids’ program, meet with parents, provide encouragement and support to staff, and look for new information for us to incorporate into the program.  So, I am busy doing things that I never had time for while teaching full time.  But I also enjoy having the flexibility to spend time with grandchildren.  I was given a note by one of the parents in the last term and I would like to share some of it with you: “This month has been truly transformational for us on our journey in missions.  A lot of that is due to our kids learning many of the same concepts that we are.  It has given us much to talk about and many more “tools” to take with us to the field... thank you!”

I hope that you regard this thank you note for you as well as you have stood with us and participated in the ministry here at CIT through your prayers and financial support.

One of our Biggest Challenges
All of our facilitation staff live on support from donors. It is increasingly hard to see them lose support as many donors don’t want to support state-side staff. As Director, I am very concerned about this. Please pray God will supply donors for each of them so they can continue the great work they do. We can’t afford to lose any of them.

"You and your work there is changing lives of both our missionaries and the people they reach - because they are arriving healthy in Europe. You ARE a world changer! What you guys do is so central - so DNA - for us. Thanks!

Leadership Succession
We are still in the search for a new CIT Executive Director and someone for George to mentor into his position as the Learning Center Director.
