A Little Over a Week Away from Northern Uganda...

APRIL 28 - MAY 12

HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY! JESUS IS RISEN INDEED...

It is because He is alive that Christ has called me to share this truth with the nations. And there is no better book than Romans to proclaim the meaning of this event.

The Lord has been graciously moving in preparation for Uganda. But what a challenging month.

On a personal note, my youngest son Zachary just left Easter Sunday for Basic Training with the US Army. This has been a time of change for our family as we say goodbye to him for almost a quarter of the year with little contact allowed. Pray for his safety and for God to make a way for him to get training in his area of interest. We love Zach very much and we are proud of having a son in the military.

ON TO NORTHERN UGANDA

I am looking forward to teaching with two seasoned instructors: Ray Morgan and Nathan McCall (my other son).

This Romans instruction will transform many churches. The theological and practical results of Christ' work on the cross will forever change many of the pastors who will be present in these two great regions. The Lord opened wide the two doors to Nebbi and to Good Sherpherd's Fold in Jinja.

PRAYER

Please join with me in your prayers to see God's eternal message transforming pastors in Northern Uganda. These leaders are still impacted by the results of a 20 year civil war.

Additionally, I thank God for His provision of the funding needed to transport 5 pastors from Adjumani on the border with South Sudan. As mentioned a few weeks ago, the 5 pastors will come to an entire week of teaching on Romans in Nebbi. This will be an incredible blessing to these pastors who struggle so much with the effects of the South Sudanese war which has brought over 140.000 refugees into their region.

Praise God for His provision though a willing servant.

Thanks to God for your partnership with me in this upcoming work.
Clarity in our communicating and their understanding so that they can faithfully teach these truths to their peers and churches.
Continued safety and health.
Dramatic progress in the churches concerning a new understanding of the Work of Christ and how God's grace changes sinners into saints.
Praise to God for what has been provided thus far!
Funds yet remaining for the training of the pastors: $2000.00
