PRAISING GOD FOR YOUR INVESTMENT IN LEADERS

Let me introduce you to David.  He ministers in a dangerous region of Northern Uganda where killings and kidnappings are frequent. Yesterday, he emailed this to me (concerning the training and device we gave him in Jan), this is in his own words...

Good evening
Allow me to say thank you so much for the great love which God has given to us. Iwant to give glory back to God for you, the I pad which you gave to me has done alot to the lives of many people. The trainings which I have passed through your hands from the time we met in mbarara and mbale has helped me alot.

The approach of discipling those whom I used to take to the prison for prison ministry has done alot where by I am testifying to you this evening on the results. Before I joined your teaching on discipliship, I was ignorant, I used to go to preach in prison alone, but The work was hectic, but after training, iwent and put what I learnt in to practice, whereby ihave managed to raise avery active team which goes to preach to the prison every Sunday at 3@00am.

So Prisoners get saved every Sunday. Then the number is decreasing of prisoners. Next month, that team of three men and four women have dedicated them selves to prepare agood special Sunday for this people and the staff whereby they have managed to raise money for buying fifty kilograms of meat for this people as their diet. So the police men have become afriends to the church.

Another thing is that the knowledge I acquired from your teaching has helped me to raise the devourted Sunday school teachers for the children where by we have managed to put children, prison, hospital ministry in our work plan whereby children participate very very well when it comes to preaching during their Sunday, singing, miming, drama.

So your comming to Uganda is not awaste of time as aresource, money, but Its going to yield amazing results to you and before God. So To me ihave discovered that this is my area of calling.

Only that I am short of money but the way ifeel, it's like I should move with you every where you go here in Uganda because I have tested what Is in you as some thing which should not allowed to be wasted. But Pray for me that God can provide for me any income generating activity which can help me to generate some money for the ministry to run effectively and also the family to be sustained.

LEAVING IN 5 WEEKS!

UPDATE ON RWANDAN CHURCH CLOSINGS
As of the last report, close to 7,000 remain closed.  Some are opening, but I will get a better sense of the situation once I arrive.  Only 5 1/2 weeks remain before my departure for a month.

GOD'S WORK WILL CONTINUE
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places...what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,...And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church,  which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. (Eph 1:3-4, 19-23)

With confidence our team will travel to teach the glorious book of Ephesians to the Congolese, Rwandan and Ugandan pastors.

As I face a month of challenges in East Africa, I believe God will be glorified as He answers your prayers. I anticipate experiencing the power of Christ through the two teams who will join me. Already Christ has been answering your petitions as significant funds have come in.  Please continue to lift up the remaining $3600.
