Getting to know these freshmen has been such a joy! We have about 10 faithful girls who have been committed to attending Bible study, Thursday Social events, and hanging out with us. We have had the opportunity to share the Gospel to a point of decision with most of them and THIS WEEK ONE GIRL RECEIVED CHRIST!!! We are so excited to have a new sister in Christ, celebrate the new life she will begin, and help build her up in her faith.

Right now Sewanee is in a "bubble" so they are unable to leave campus and we cannot go see them. While it is so sad that we cannot go visit our students and encourage them in person, we continue to meet weekly on Zoom with our student leaders for training and discipleship.  Our women's student leaders who lead Bible studies and weekly meetings on campus are Brooke, Lexi, Paisley, and Clare. Sewanee is a very isolating, spiritually dark place and this can become heavy on the students' hearts. Please pray for encouragement and wisdom from the Holy Spirit to navigate this semester while walking in the Light of God.

Upcoming events:
Worship Night 10/8 - Three pop-up worship nights in three different locations to praise our Father and Savior for who He is and have fellowship with one another
Drive-in Movie Night 10/15 - A fun viewing of Monster's University for students to slow down and enjoy one another in the safety of their own cars
Fall Day Retreat 10/17 - A day packed with hiking, small-group games and experiential learning, a good meal, and worship and reflection 
Pop-up Bonfire and Smores 10/22 - Students will enjoy the beauty of fall and fellowship with a classic autumn activity at multiple locations throughout Chattanooga

• Praise to our God for bringing another college student from darkness into light!
• Hanna, a former intern, finished raising her support to be full-time staff this week. Now we have 10 full-time staff members and interns!
