Hello support team! I hope you are healthy and transitioning well into the fall. Campus ministry functions differently this year but the Lord is ever faithful. We continue to meet new students and add them to our Cru family with Bible studies and group hangouts. Every week looks different and presents new challenges but in 8 new Bible studies and 9 continuing from last year, God is revealing Himself to students through His word, His body of believers, and His Holy Spirit.

New Year, new Cru staff team! This year, not only did we keep all three interns from last year, we added Katie and Savannah to our team! Both graduated from UTC this past year and are helping start freshmen girls Bible studies on campus.

I am so excited to be leading a new Bible study with my student co-leaders Dakota and Rose. We are building relationships with freshmen girls and leading them through the book of Philippians every Monday evening.

Thursday socials are our way of maintaining Cru community without our normal large group gathering. We have had dinners, a scavenger hunt, trivia night, and worship night by coordinating simultaneous activities in different locations. Peyton and I, along with our student team, have been working hard to organize socials for students to have fellowship and community with other believers outside of their Bible studies. Below are students at our Chattanooga scavenger hunt and trivia night!

Prayer Requests
* Praise that we can now meet with 10 people inside and 30 people outside!
* Continuous creativity and flexibility when things change
* Peace and rest for these students who are working hard to navigate college during COVID
* An evident hunger and openness in students that encourages them to ask questions and share
* A present delight in God and a fervent desire to share His name in word and in action

syd95The Lord is ever faithful and never stops working, even during a pandemic. Thank you for your encouragement and prayers.

Love,
Sydney
