Happy Thanksgiving from Sanhe Church in Taiwan! We had an excellent Thanksgiving outreach last night with many people in church for the first time (see picture above). We did something a bit different this year by acting out the story of David & Goliath, then explaining how we now have an even greater victory through our Savior Jesus. For this salvation we give thanks, as Paul says in Corinthians, "Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Cor. 15:57)
Here's how you can pray as we head into the Christmas season.
1) We are really feeling the effects of a very long term. Pray for endurance. We have taken on a new team member as well as a Taiwanese intern in the past month, which have already brought a few issues that had to be addressed. A number of the relational issues are taking a toll on us.
2) A team from YWAM in Taipei will come to help us with our Christmas outreaches this year. Please pray that we would work well together as we hold various outreach events.
3) We will have two baptisms for our December 20th Christmas service. Pray that this would be a special time for everyone and be a good witness for unbelieving family members.
4) Please pray for our children to do well in school. While we are thankful for the small satellite school in Chiayi to support the missionaries, we are realizing that there are a few challenges with a multi-grade classroom.

Our Thanksgiving feast was abundant!
Thomas was one of the guest speakers at a mission conference at Chiayi Christian Hospital.
We continue to go to the park and sing, share Bible stories, do crafts and talk with parents.
