THE MCINTYRE PRAYER ENQUIRER

We give thanks for the baptism of Mr. Lin (pictured above) a few weeks ago at Sanhe Gospel Church in Zhongpu. He is a security guard at an apartment complex near our house. Praise God for this new life in Christ! Here's how you can pray.

-- We are almost half-way through our home assignment in Texas. Lord willing, we still plan to return to Taiwan in June to begin a new church planting ministry in Xingang for the next 3 years. We give thanks that Ashlee and Tyler are much more settled into Texas life and handling the transition pretty well, all things considered.

-- We praise God for giving us many speaking opportunities. Jennifer just returned from speaking at a church in San Francisco, teaching about how to better support missionaries. She has been serving as a Church Missions Consultant with OMF while in the U.S. She also spoke to various groups at the College Station Chinese Bible Church about what God has been doing in Taiwan through our ministry. We both traveled to Baylor University to represent OMF International for their annual missions conference a few weeks ago. Thomas has been busy with Doctor of Ministry classes at Knox Seminary and preaching at Life Point Christian Church and the College Station Chinese Bible Church.

-- We leave in a few weeks to represent OMF International in Richmond, VA, at the ICOM missions conference. Please pray we can be an encouragement for those who are considering long-term missions. From there we drive to Baltimore, MD, to speak at the Evangelical Formosan Church of Baltimore/Columbia. Please pray that we can reconnect will with our beloved partners in this area.

-- Please pray for Jordan and his wife Bella (the pastor of our church plant). There have been a number of challenges arising regarding anxiety for their finances as Covid restrictions in Taiwan have made it hard for them to support raise, and they are also concerned for the church finances. Our coworkers from Finland might also depart the church for an extended 2-year home assignment, so Jordan and Bella are concerned they cannot lead the church without some additional help. Thomas will be making some phone calls to Taiwan to help arrange a Taiwanese mentor for Jordan and walk him through some of these difficulties since we are so far away. Please pray for their stability and maturity.

With thanks for your prayers and financial gifts,
Thomas & Jennifer
