"The sorrows of those who run after another god shall multiply." - Ps. 16:4

Dear Prayer Supporters,

Our home assignment comes to an end in just a few weeks. Thanks to everyone who has prayed for us and given generously to make our ministry to south Taiwan possible. We're reminded as we prepare to return on June 1 for another 3-year term that we're going to place where nearly everyone in Zhongpu is running after other gods in eagerness and desperation. As Psalm 16:4 rightfully points out, their sorrows then multiply, which makes ministering in south Taiwan no easy task. So we're going to need your prayers . Here's how you can pray as we prepare to head back.

1) Pray for our family as we pack, say goodbye, and transition back to life in Asia. Pray for our kids (Easter picture above) to adjust well linguistically and with the intense heat, but give thanks that they're so excited to return. Pray for our health physically, emotionally, and spiritually in the weeks ahead. Jennifer especially has had daily migraines and needs prayers.

2) Pray for team unity as we head back and encourage our co-workers to continue laboring on the streets, especially in evangelism. Pray that we could maintain a good relationship with our partnering church in Chiayi City.

3) Please continue to pray for God to provide a teacher for the missionary families in our area (starting in 2018-2019 school year), and that God would provide a suitable speech therapist for Tyler in Chiayi City this summer. Regarding the teacher, our team has decided that we will not continue to minister in Zhongpu - a very unreached area - if we can't find a teacher by the 2018-2019 school year (we would have to move south to Kaoshiung and start over).

Thanks again for your partnership in Gospel ministry,
Thomas & Jennifer
