Escaping the bitter cold here in the US, six intrepid teachers head for West Africa…Actually,  We are going to teach God’s Word.  The warmer weather is just a providential bonus!  

Returning to Ghana Next Week
6 Teachers, 3 Conferences, and 4 MINTS courses

I leave January 26 for Ghana for three weeks of ministry.  During the first week, Ray Warwick (a fellow ELI staffer) and I will be teaching a conference on Biblical Marriage to an entirely new group of leaders in Accra, Ghana's capital city.  Please pray for God’s blessing on His truth and for this high-potential new teaching venue.

The following two weeks, we will be joined by four more teachers and we will separate into two groups.  This will enable us to cover both conferences and MINTS seminary classes in Kumasi and Sunyani.  Please pray for these men as they minister to leaders of the Ghanaian church: John Southworth, Dan Gilchrist (both of whom have recently joined ELI as adjunct instructors), Mike Harper, and Terry Mudder.  I am truly blessed to have such qualified and congenial compatriots in this work!

I am looking forward to seeing God’s blessing poured out as we minister His truth in His name.  Thank you in advance for your vitally important prayer support!

On a different note: As we have presented our ministry with ELI, many people have asked how they could obtain a copy of the book, Our Covenant God.  This book is an introduction to the Biblical narrative of redemption, and forms the basis for one of ELI’s core conferences on Biblical interpretation.  We are pleased to announce that, through the help and encouragement of many friends, the book is now available on Amazon Kindle.  Also, because of generous gifts from several donors, a Spanish translation of Our Covenant God is underway, and is scheduled for publication later this year.
